people into a mature faith in Jesus using methods that are Biblically-based and culturally
relevant - beginning locally and (God willing!) reaching to the ends of the earth.

The Five Purposes of Our Church
1.
Celebrate God in Authentic Worship
 | "Worship the Lord your God and serve Him
only." Matthew 4:10 |
2. Share Christ with our World
| Jesus said, 'but you shall receive power when the Holy
Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all
Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest parts of the earth." Acts 1:8 |
| Jesus said, 'Go and make disciples of all nations,
baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Matthew 28:19-20 |
3. Follow Christ Daily
| Grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2
Peter 3:18 |
| Let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and
go on to maturity... Hebrews 6:1 |
4. Care Genuinely for Each Other
| By this all men will know that you are My disciples,
if you have love for one another. John 13:35 |
| And day by day continuing with one mind in the temple,
and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with
gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God, and having favour with all the people. And
the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved. Acts
2:46-47 |
5. Exercise Gifts in Service
| Now God gives us many kinds of special abilities...
and there are different kinds of service to God (ministry)... All of you together form the
one Body of Christ and each of you is a separate and necessary part of it. 1

What is the Vision of Our Church?
| It is the dream of providing a safe haven for the
confused, for those burned by religion, and for those scarred by sin to receive love,
encouragement, guidance and hope through Jesus Christ. |
| It is the dream of passionately sharing the Good News of
Jesus Christ with thousands of people in our immediate area and beyond! |
| It is the dream of being an intentional, purpose-driven
church that plans, programs, staffs, evaluates, and builds on the five purposes of the
church (evangelism, fellowship, discipleship, worship and service). |
| It is the dream of connecting people in authentic
relationships and nurturing small groups to love one another, encourage one another and
serve one another. |
| It is the dream of developing people who are passionate
about making mature followers of Jesus Christ through worship, Bible studies, small
groups, seminars, workshops, retreats / weekends away and life-application teaching. |
| It is the dream of equipping people to discover and use
their gifts and talents to serve Christ, so that each one will know the euphoria of
eternal significance in serving God and others in various of church ministries. |
| It is the dream of planting
purpose driven churches (congregations), beginning locally and reaching out around the
world. |
| It is the dream of developing and maintaining our
multi-purposed, church property that represents the splendour of our God and the wise
stewardship of material resources. |
| It is the dream of seeing our church auditorium equipped
with state of the art communication capabilities and filled to capacity in numerous weekly
services, as well as the maximum use of our all of our facilities for children and youth
ministries, multicultural ministries, small group ministries, teaching ministries, family
ministries, counselling ministries and other community ministries - all to the glory of
God. |

Through our Church we trust that God will help
each individual experience:
| DYNAMIC FAITH - The grace of God in salvation and a
vital relationship with Jesus Christ. |
| SPIRITUAL GROWTH - Growing as a mature follower of Jesus
Christ and constantly learning and being challenged to take the next step of development
and commitment in his walk with God. |
| AUTHENTIC RELATIONSHIPS - A life that is vitally
connected to other people, with real friendships with others in Christian community, who
love, encourage and help each other grow. Individual spiritual growth in a community
setting and acquiring skills in relating to all people in healthy ways. |
| PERSONAL SIGNIFICANCE - A life that is impacting for
eternity. Enjoying work, but gaining fulfilment from investing time, talent and
treasure in people. |
| SUCCESSFUL FAMILY - Living in loving family
relationships, with a fulfilling partnership in marriage and authentic devotion to raising
children to be healthy and responsible Christian adults. |

Our Church will impact the family in two ways.
Through us we pray that God will:
| SAVE FAMILIES - Hurting and struggling families will seek
and find help here. God will use teaching, counselling, love and support to save marriages
and families on the brink of disaster. |
| STRENGTHEN FAMILIES - A strong family provides a
launching pad for people of character. Our Church is devoted to strengthening families
through emphatic children and youth ministries and training in marriage and family life. |

The greatest gift God can give any city is a dynamic
church. Through our Church we pray that God will:
| SHIFT THE MORAL CLIMATE - eg: Fewer teens become
pregnant, fewer business people cheat and people are more benevolent to the needy. |
| LOWER THE CRIME RATE - Fewer crimes are committed because
God has made a difference in the entire region. |
| CHANGE THE VALUE SYSTEM - God uses our Church to
break the bonds selfishness, materialism, entertainment and recreational addictions.
People begin to value character, truth, people, and doing what is right before God. |

Our Church will impact the entire world
through:
| PLANTING CHURCHES - Our Church will aim to
sacrificially plant churches (congregations) that are safe places for unchurched people to
grow into mature followers of Jesus Christ, equipped to go out and share the saving gospel
of Christ. |
| HANDS ON MISSION EXPERIENCES - Our Church will
encourage and send people around the world to give hope, share Christ and build up His
Kingdom! Our Church will minister through faithful giving to missionaries and via
outreaching and resourcing ministries on the Internet. |
| COOPERATIVE EFFORTS WITH OTHER BELIEVERS - Our Church
will work with other believers to share locally, nationally and internationally. |
