About Us
Rocco & Sue Scarcella
Back in 1997, when the internet was still in its infancy, there was
a very limited Christian presence online. We wondered: why? We discovered that
for most it wasn't that there was a lack of interest... but expertise! Who
is going to do it? There was no time to waste! We soon found ourselves launching
into a new and exciting "learn-as-you-go" adventure!
Since then, WEBPASTOR.COM has developed into a passionate
ministry enabling us to reach beyond the bounds and limitations of the local
church with the impacting gospel truth of Jesus Christ.
Our internet ministry "WEBPASTOR.COM Ministries" has grown
as a result of being caught up in an awesome vision of what God can do through
this international medium. Our passion and vision has continued to be summed up
by the motto: "To grow mature followers of Jesus Christ."
We are currently based in Sydney, Australia with
Wesley International Congregation,
where Rocco is serving as Pastor of Alpha & LIFE Groups. Even so, we both
maintain very active interests in ministering to those of an Italian background
as well as in short term missions to help the poor and needy in Indonesia and
over the last 13 years have developed particular links with the Protestant
Christian Church in Bali [GKPB]. We both speak Italian and Sue is proficient in
Indonesian as well. We have two young-adult daughters. Below, we have included a
brief CV.
